Baby, you can drive my car

New scrapbook page of the boys playing on Ben's car. Amazingly, Christopher can totally sit on there and hold on. Ben was being nice and sharing his car and showing Chris how it works. Chris took Ben for a ride ;)

New Play-Doh table!

We scored at Walmart on some great after-Christmas clearance toys. One of our finds was this Play-Doh Creativity table. It's great for coloring, painting, and playing with Play-Doh. It even has built in "tools"- the fuzzy pumper (hair grower) and the noodley thing... pretty fun. I did a scrapbook page of Ben's first experience with the Play-Doh. He thought it was pretty cool stuff.

Rockin' out!

Today, I put on this old concert DVD of this local Utah band that my friend Shannon and I we were nuts over. Colors. We liked Russ, his voice was so dreamy ;) Ben loved it! He dragged his guitar out and sat "playing along" and would clap and cheer with the audience. This kid LOVES music. Chris just wanted to play guitar too.

Christopher's first big laughing!

Ben was throwing this magazine, and for some reason, Chris thought that was HILARIOUS!

Awwww....

Dave was in Atlanta last night and today, and he sent me roses from him and the boys. So sweet these boys :)

¡Ayúdenme!

This is Ben in the corner. We're working on "time-outs" when he's doing something he's not supposed to (usually hurting Chris). He's just getting to the age where he's starting to understand consequences. Today, after putting him there and walking away, he started yelling "Ayúdenme! Ayúdenme!" ("Help! Help!" in Spanish) which for Ben actually sounds like "Awthuthuthay" but you can tell by the inflection what he's saying! He learned this from Dora the Explorer (kids' show) and I'd heard him repeat it before, but didn't realize he understood what it meant! So this is his "Ayúdenme face". How can I say no?

Sicky Daddy and Sleepy Chris

Dave has had a migraine for like three days. Yuck. He finally went in to the ER tonight. Hopefully whatever they gave him will help. Christopher and I are sleeping downstairs so Daddy can have a quiet room... I put Chris in his old moses basket to see if he'd go to sleep downstairs while I hurried Ben to bed (this is hard by myself!) and he actually zonked right out! So cute!

Earlier today at the store, he was ready for a nap. No fussing, just put his head down and closed his eyes. I laid him down in the basket and he napped like that. Lovin' that this kid is starting to sleep anywhere!
